Project overview
This project focuses on supporting migrants, especially from Africa and other disadvantaged backgrounds, to integrate through digital inclusion. Beneficiaries received free digital gadgets such as laptops, mobile phones, tablets, Alexa voice and show.
This project was funded via a grant from #CovConnects and West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) Adaptive Fund
Deliverables
- 80 members of the community who were+55 years or older received various Alexa devices
- Over 200 African migrants benefited from training on how to use digital gadgets
